    Description

    Banko ware is a type of Japanese pottery traditionally from Yokkaichi, Mie. It is therefore also known as Yokkaichi-Banko ware. It is believed to have originated in the 18th century. Most products are teacups, teapots, flower vases, and sake vessels
    This is a vintage teapot with a bamboo covered handle.  It is brown pottery with a marble swirl pattern (see photos).  The pot is 2 1/2" tall not including the handle. Exceptional condition with no damage or repairs.
