STEELE saddle trees are an American staple.....they have been in business over 150 years, through 5 generations.  They were even producing saddle trees for the civil war.
In that period of time, they have certainly perfected their trade.
Several years ago, I bought a large quantity of these trees from a saddle maker that was no longer in business. They were well received here on Ebay, but I stopped offering them for personal health issues.
Now, they are being offered again.
The measures are raw, they will change when the leather is added to the saddle.
15.5 inch seat finished ( they state 16, I have shown measure, will reduce by 1/2" when covered ), 4" cantle drop, 6 3/4" inch gullet, 11 inch  swell. Recessed, built in, stirrup slots.
Metal rim has been added on the cantle.  Leather has been added toward the front of the seat.....that happened a few years back. I have conditioned it, and it seems good, but you may want to replace it.

Shipping is high due to size, but I can ship up to 3 trees in a box for very little more than 1 due to the size box.
