Here is a very attractive antique Japanese Bank pottery figural teapot in the shape of a duck. It probably had a rattan or fiber handle of some type originally. It measures about 8 1/2" long, about 4 3/8" wide and about 4" tall. It is in excellent condition overall. There are minor flakes to tips of three sharp points on lid. There are a couple small firing separations on the underside of the lid, done in the making. There are no other chips or cracks. There is a small bit of surface grime inside bottom. There are some minor scattered surface marks from handling. There are some spots of stray color on left lower neck, done in the making. Marked on base. Looks great overall.  Please see photos.
