This saddle is stunning, one that was made when saddles were hand built and hand tooled. This is an older Longhorn, but is in great shape and can help riders start out safely and still be affordable. This 14.5" Martha Josey series Longhorn is an all around style/pleasure on a wood tree, on QH Bars that measure 6.5" with a very wide flare, that has flatter bars, fitting wider than it measures. Shorter skirt at 26" and has very adjustable fenders, easily going short enough for a youth rider. This one is fully tooled with all hand tooling, with sunflowers. This saddle as designed by Martha Josey, likely in the 1980's, to be an all round, all event saddle. Some of the conchos are not original to the saddle. Real wool underside. This is a great saddle to still use, even as an every day saddle, or add to a collection to represent a time when saddles were well made. These quality older saddles last a lifetime!
