There are 10 friends who belong to different places. Five of them i.e. D1, D2, D3, D4 and D5 are sitting in a row facing North and the other five friends D6, D7, D8, D9 and D10 are sitting in row facing South. Each friend in a row is facing exactly one from the other row. They belong to different places like Bangalore, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna and Pune. D6 sits opposite to the friend who is from Indore and sits at one of the extremes. The friend who belongs to Hyderabad who is not D8 sits second to the right of D6. D2 who does not sit at the extreme end belongs to Patna and sits opposite to the friend who is from Dehradun. The friend who belongs to Kolkata who is not D3 sits opposite to D9. D4 neither belongs to Pune nor to Kolkata. The one who is from Bangalore sits opposite to the friend who is to the immediate left of D2. D10 sits exactly in the middle of D8 and the friend who is from Chennai who is not D6. D7 does not sit at any of the extremes but sits opposite to the friend who belongs to Pune, who is adjacent to D1 and the friend who belongs to Lucknow.

Ten persons are sitting in twelve seats in two parallel rows containing five players each, in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent players. In row – I –  B, C, D, E and  F – are seated and all of them are facing south, and in row – II – Q, R, S, T and V – are sitting and all of them are facing north. One seat is vacant in each row. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement each player seated in one row faces exactly one player in the other row. {KSEducational.Com} All of them live beside a different river among – Ganga, Godavari, Narmada, Betwa, Yamuna, Indus, Krishna, Sutlej, Chambal, and Tapti – but not necessarily in the same order. B sits opposite the person who sits third to the left of the person who lives beside Chambal river. Either D or S lives beside Tapti river and neither D nor S sits at the ends of the row. The one who lives beside Narmada river and the one who lives beside Yamuna river sit facing each other. Neither B nor the one who lives beside Chambal River sits at the third seat from any end of the rows.  V sits opposite neither B nor E and lives beside neither Ganga river nor Sutlej river.  E sits neither adjacent to D nor opposite the one who lives beside Chambal river.  The vacant seat of row – I is not at any end of the row, and it is not adjacent to E.  R lives beside either Godavari river or Betwa river and sits second to the right of the person who sits opposite C but not adjacent to the one who lives beside Chambal river.   C lives beside either Indus river or Krishna river. The one who lives besides Indus river sits opposite to Krishna river.  The vacant seats are not opposite each other.  F sits opposite T and adjacent to the only one person who lives beside Betwa river.  The one who lives beside Godavari river sits adjacent to Q but not adjacent to the one who lives beside Yamuna river.  The one who lives beside Ganga river sits to the left of the one who lives beside Krishna river. Q does not live beside Narmada river.

R, S, T, U, V, W and X are seven people live on seven different floors of a building but not necessarily in the same order. The lower most floor of the building is numbered 1, the one above that is numbered 2 and so on till the topmost floor is numbered 7. Each one of them belongs to different cities. i.e. Kolkata, Pune, Goa, Mumbai, Delhi, Indore and Jaipur (But not necessarily in the same order.)  {KSEducational.Com} The one who belongs to Kolkata lives immediately above the one who belongs to Jaipur. Only one person lives between X and T. X lives on one of the floors above T. Neither R nor W belongs to Mumbai. T does not belongs to Goa. W lives on an odd numbered floor but not on the floor numbered three. The one who belongs to Delhi lives immediately above W. Only two people live between W and the one who belongs to Goa. The one who belongs to Pune lives on one of the odd numbered floors above S. Only three people live between R and the one who belongs to Pune. The one who belongs to Goa lives immediately above R. U belongs to Goa.
